Today we completed our first sprint in the development of HeroQuest Revived. There is a great deal to be proud of, and hopefully, you all agree. Here are a few of the items that are functional from this first sprint:
- Menu System
- Multiplayer capable
- Character chooser and name configuration
- In-Menu multiplayer chat
- Player name configuration
- Character turn assignment
- Ready “Check In” lobby system
- Base Gameplay
- Turn Management (4 player turns followed by enemy play)
- Visibility detector (game objects only appear when player is within line of sight)
- Open/Close doors with visibility reveal
- Hero attack system
- Enemy pathfinding and attack system
- Simple camera movement, zoom, and rotate
