Not currently, mainly because some of the text in the game are embedded into graphics and I’d need to pull the art and text into separate resources. I won’t say that it’s something I won’t consider in the future, but it’s not there currently.

    Hi. great job, guys.
I wanted tell you i played a game once, and it had a ‘speed up time” sort of option for the movement speed. I thought it would be cool if your game did this.
Thankyou, i’ve played it half a dozen times now and it seems perfect.

Hey well done in the development. However, I can’t find where I can save a game? Also the first level seems extremely difficult.

Please ignore my last question. This is a masterful piece of work you have done here! Very very impressive!!! I did find the first quest very hard, but that made it really interesting. The other quests are quite easy in comparison, but I understand these are the quests from the original game. Really looking forward to staying tuned for further updates and any other things you work on.

I’m currently traveling on business, so I can’t look at the quest log for that quest and the code to see the alignment here. It’s 100% possible I didn’t get this feature done at this time, and I’m not going to say I may not have just forgotten as well. I’ll review.

I just reviewed and yes, I didn’t add this artifact, mainly because it was the last quest in the base game and adding an entire subsystem allowing for this quest ring to be used when it was the last quest seemed an unnecessary cost for my time up front. May return to add it when I go to do the expansions since then it provides value.

its very cool. i only know the original boardgame, where monsters all have just 1 bodypoint. this is a bit difficult out of that the gargoyle for example is not realy beatable, also the chaos warriors. saving doesnt work. it also would be cool if we can play zargon in mp. this here has realy nice gfx and sfx. good work all and over.

    Hi,
Great adaptation with really nice feel of the original board game.
One note, I tried the first couple of quests and when I tried buying equipment the only item it would let me purchase was the toolkit even if I had enough gold for other items. Am I missing somethin?
    Thank you

I’m not aware of this issue. I’ll try to reproduce it. If you have any friends that might be interested with different devices, I’d be curious for more feedback to help ensure if there is some issue related. Make sure you transfer the money needed to a single hero (the purchaser) before buying as each hero’s “gold” is considered separate and not shared, but you can drag gold from 1 hero to another.

Hi! Your work is amazing! I am very grateful for yo to have created such a version of the classic. Have you thought about adding expansions such as The Return of the Witch Lord or something? I would really pay for playing that. Thank you one more time 🙂

Expansions are 100% part of the plan. Building out a 2.0 version of the game now to allow for faster updates and additions as the version out there now was created as a “for fun” project for myself and never expected to really grow as it has. In order to support more/faster additions, I really need to rework some of the core concepts in the code. Hopefully we’ll all see this soon!

Amigo, me chamo Paulo e sou brasileiro.

My spanish is terrible, so I’m going to reply in english. I hope you understand.

I appreciate the feedback. I have considered open source’ing the project, however I have 1 issue currently, which is that I have personally purchased some of the assets and thus can’t share the entire project in the current state. I am definately looking to expand on the missions. I’m in the middle of a 2.0 heavy rewrite to add some core features that weren’t possible on my previous engine/framework, and one goal is to allow for quick additions to the guests with a future goal of being able to add a “campaign picker” for official campaigns as well as custom ones. I’m not going to promise a full map editor yet, but I’d like to get there.

Really awesome… Been playing this a lot now and I love it…
I found some strange bugs though. Not sure if you are interested to know them though.
    * When selecting where a hero should go it will go into a detected trap automatically.
    * Quest 10. When using a wizard and use go through stone it sometimes takes the path through a door and you will roll and see where you end up.
    * Quest 12. No 200gold reward when finishing the quest.

This is really good! One suggestion if you’re not adding a save feature at least allow you to pick which quest you start on! Keep up the good work

A save game is automatically created after each quest is completed, so you should be able to restore/continue from any quest. the only feature not yet supported is mid-quest saving.

Hi, we’ve been playing the first two quest and HeroQuest Revived is amazing!

Just one question: is there a way to save during a quest, as opposed to having to actually complete it in order to get the game autosaved?

Not currently, however we are looking for a mechanism to support this in the future releases. The main reason is that the system is built strongly upon multiplayer (even if you play alone) and as such the state save/restore mid-game was not prioritized as it adds additional levels of complexity in the multiplayer state synchronization.
