First, thank you for the feedback, it is extremely appreciated.
After rolling for movement then taking an action (ex: attack, search for secret doors), all movement points go away. Don't know if this is intentional or part of the rules. Ignore this comment if it is.
Yes.. the basic rules for the game are that you can 2 do "things" each turn, a movement and an action, however if you start a movement and then take an action, you forfeit the remainder of your movement allowance.
I managed to get all of my adventurers out of the dungeon. Then I was shown a banner asking to show support with what looked like buttons with links which would open a browser to the page linked with each button. At this point the game was unresponsive, as none of the buttons nor the "quit" button in the bottom right of the screen were clickable. It didn't seem like there was any way to get out of this screen other than Alt+F4, which is what I did.
Definitely a bug. Fixed in version 0.0.17.
Can clicking on the character card(s) on the upper left of the screen do something? I prefer if it pans to the character on the board.
Not a bad idea. I was considering using this type of action to view inventories when that is implemented, but I think a separate view inventories control of some kind and using your idea may be better. Thanks.
Can there be a some visual that shows the turn order? Like the portraits at the top of the screen similar to DOS2?
The player portraits in the upper left are in the turn order of the players and a "caret" should show the current turn (maybe adding a enemies placeholder at the bottom makes sense?). The enemies are actually allowed to play in any order they wish to on the "enemy wizard's" turn, so I'm not sure that something like this can be laid out. The basic gameplay is Hero1, Hero2, Hero3, Hero4, Dungeon Master for the board game which allows the dungeon master to do whatever they choose in whatever order they choose.
Is it possible to add a flashing/animated cursor over the current character's/NPCs turn?
I'm assuming you mean in the game world/on the board as a solution to finding which character is the current turn. Might be something I can look into. I'll make a note. If I misunderstood the ask, let me know.
Can you add ability to rotate camera around the board (in azimuth direction), as if moving around to another side of the table? Also can you add the ability to reset rotation to the starting default position?
The next version of the game should have furniture included and as such I intended to add some mechanism to rotate the screen around the character as this is certainly going to make hidden characters possible. I'm not yet locked in on controls, so mouse related controls are certainly possible, but for these early alpha drops I'll probably stick with simple keyboard keys as they are easy to implement and easy to replace at the end when it is better known what controls need to exist in the game. Expect, at minimum, a set of keys for rotate in the next release.
The combat UI / menu: I feel you don't need the user to click the "roll dice" dice button by a player, it can just be started automatically after a second or two automatically. Unless there is going to be more options during combat (like using an item, spell, or skill to apply some combat effect or buff prior to rolling the dice, but I don't know if something like this is written in the rules of the board game).
This is certainly something that could be added to an options screen to configure if you want to auto-timeout combat dialogs or something to that effect. Will write up this as a request.
